My Story

I was in my 20's when I was diagnosed with a hormonal health challenge- PMDD (Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder--what a name, right?!) It was wreaking havoc on my life in every way: the painful periods, depression, and anxiety were impacting my quality of life in very destructive ways. I felt like I was trapped in an endless loop of ups and downs depending on what part of my hormonal cycle I was in. 

The only thing my OB/GYN suggested to me as a treatment remedy was hormonal birth control or Serafem (which is Prozac, btw...rebranded for PMDD "treatment" purposes). I thought to myself, "Isn't there a Plan B before we rush to Z? Why should my first course of action be medicating myself with pharmaceuticals that had serious side effects and weren't going to address the actual underlying issue? Why didn't women have more options?"

There HAD to be another way. We put men on the moon, but we still hadn't even begun to understand the terrain of the a woman's hormonal landscape?! I was perplexed...and fired up.

I began my own healing journey with natural medicine that inspired me so much that I decided to study Acupuncture, and then later pursued an apprenticeship with a master in the holistic hormonal health field. In my practice, I began to see more and more women struggling with fertility. I saw a need for women to work on the root causes of their imbalances before jumping to invasive procedures and IVF (which also were causing a lot of trauma for my clients and were financially inaccessible to a large part of the population). 

The women I was seeing weren't given other options to actually HEAL their hormones, and there were few local practitioners supporting those women in the deep whole-person way they needed. And thus I became an activist in women's health: passionate for providing empowerment, education, and deep whole-person coaching support for ALL women as they navigated their fertility journeys!

I am passionate about supporting women and inspiring them to empower themselves inside and out in their personal healing journey! Nothing gives me more joy than helping a woman begin to love herself more deeply and overcome her fertility challenges so she can start her family!
